Aldo Cipullo (1942–1984) was an Italian-American jewelry designer renowned for his iconic creations during the 1960s and 1970s. Born in Naples, Italy, Cipullo studied at the School of Art in Rome before moving to New York City in 1959 to pursue his career in design. He worked with prestigious jewelry houses like Tiffany & Co. and David Webb before joining Cartier in 1969, where he created some of his most famous pieces.
Cipullo is best known for designing the Cartier Love bracelet and Juste un Clou (Just a Nail) collection. After leaving Cartier in the mid-1970s, Cipullo launched his own label, until his untimely death at the age of 42. Today, his work remains celebrated.
