Overview
A silver fruit bowl by Fabergé, on short straight foot, oval-shaped, with rounded body and beaded outer rim, the lower section fluted, the upper section chased with an ornate pattern band of foliate motif, a pair of ribbon-shaped vertical handles concluding at either side of the bowl’s base with a leaf design. The base marked Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, the assay master’s mark initialled A.C and dated 1896, assay marks for “84” standard silver and the city mark for Moscow. Measuring approx. 20cm and 29cm at its widest points. Circa 1896.
