A Fine Art Deco Two-stone Emerald & Platinum Ring, circa 1930, millegrain-set with a pair of step-cut stones, weighing a total of approximately 4cts, of Colombian origin, within an openwork frame pierced with palmette motifs & set with 8/8 cut & brilliant-cut diamonds. Ring Size – L 1/2.
Like Art Nouveau, Art Deco was an artistic movement, not limited to jewellery. It cultivated an ideology that is characterised by a celebration of the modern and mechanical.
